We’ve been a family of 6 for almost 3 weeks.  Kyle went back to work this week and I have my mom here for a week to help out and then, *gulp*, I’m on my own!  I feel like we’re getting in a good rhythm, though and it shouldn’t be too bad.  Maddox and Juliette are great at playing together and entertaining themselves.  I tend to be more put together the more things I have to juggle and balance.  It helps to keep me focused and on task.  I hope you enjoy the most recent pictures!

9 Days Old

Allison and Everett are 9 days old today and we have been home a week.  At their 1 week check-up they were growing like champs!  Almost back up to their birth weight, which is excellent!  Everett is a bit better of an eater and has passed up Allison by a few ounces.  We’ve had a few good nights and a few bad ones, but we’re hanging in there.  Everett is a way better sleeper and has no problem drifting off whenever he is tired, wherever he happens to be.  Allison, on the other hand, is a little more high strung and gets frantic when she gets tired and won’t just drift off.  She really only enters a deep sleep if she falls asleep nursing, which is frustrating.  She has been much sleepier since birth and that is most likely why she hasn’t trained herself to fall asleep yet.
